'Tranquility' - Reproduction Print
In this piece I tried to channel calm and stillness as I painted.
The origami cranes are set against an abstract landscape of blues and greens, intended to represent a lake, with mist rising of the water, perhaps early in the morning when the water is at its most beautiful and serene.
Heavy body acrylic paint and modelling paste is used to introduce texture and shadows on the 'water', with origami paper as highlights on the crane wings.
