Inspired by misty winter forest walks. This piece had no plan, and simply evolved as each layer was added. I loved combining the hard edges against the softness of the mist. The top layer of lighter repetitive strokes represents the lifting of the clouds, with the golden origami birds added to bring a sense of movement and 'rising up'.
